Sorry, my location did not appear in my last post, and I could not edit. In case it doesn't appear in this post, I am in the U.S.A., in Southern California. I welcome discussions with individuals from other countries, particularly from the Middle East, as I still have much to learn. Thank you! allatti2d67@yahoo.com

Thank you very much for providing this service, which is vital to peace in the future. Without communication between cultures, the world would be destined to perpetual wars because of misunderstandings and fear and ignorance. It is my wish that voices of the people are heard, from all nations, and that other people will listen to and respect other points of view. It is through outlets like that that we may learn about each other when we come from very different backgrounds and cultures. I know very little about Middle East cultures, and have learned a great deal through reading not only the articles, but even more by reading what all the people here from around the world are saying. Education is liberating; ignorance is prison. Please continue your work!

I find it interesting to see all news about Iran are somewhat contrary to the realities there. Is the paper only meant to portray Iran negatively all the time? Is there nothing good about Iran?

Is this a some sort of mujahed, MEK site. Silly article on Iran. Please remind me not to have your staff on my team next time I negotiate my auto purchase. So, you suggest Iran give up its independence for a few spare airplane parts and a WTO membership consideration? When US and the West is ready to talk with no pre-conditions and treats the Iranian nation with respect and dignity, Iran will talk and will respon with reason. Iran's role in the region must be recognized in the regions and its concerns and demands must be recognized. Iran is not N Korear, Syria or Libya, it is probably the most strategically located nation on this planet and a powerful one and it knows how to play the great game. As for the islands, it doesn't matter who signs what. The UAE can claim what it want. They are not going anywhere. Do you really think UAE has any chance at those islands? Good luck! Mexico will have CA before UAE gets a chance at those islands.

I just feel so broken hearted when I read these true events and want to yell to the heavens, I know God sees all knows all..I just do not understand it, the brutality of it all.

Go Ahmadinezhad you show them what truth an honour is. You don't need alot of people to back you up, just don't forget the spirit of Revolution that brings Iran stand and shout the truth and justice until now. May God be with you.

I am trying to locate a friend that I haven't seen in 27 years. I have very limited information on him. Daroush AKBARI, his farther owned a carton making company, in Tehran. I have the area Karaj implanted in my mind I’m sure this was the area in which the family lived. Daroush was studied at the Lancaster Polytechnic now know as Coventry University. He had to return home to care for his family, after the death of his father who suffered a heart attack at the wheel of his car travelling at 140km per hour. I have spent many years trying to trace Daroush. I lost his contact details when my mother passed away.
